Kenya Flower Council & MPS-ABC
Becoming a responsible grower doesn’t happen overnight — it’s a process. And we’ve taken the first step. We are proud to be a member of the Kenya Flower Council, and as of January 1st, 2025, we have officially started the MPS-ABC certification process. This program is more than just a label. It’s a commitment — to sustainable water use, responsible energy consumption, good working conditions, and ethical production practices. Achieving this certification requires multiple audits and continuous improvement, but we’re fully on board.
Small steps, big impact
Starting the MPS-ABC process is an important milestone for us. It shows we’re serious — not just about growing flowers, but about growing the right way. We want our operations in Kenya to reflect the same care we apply in the Netherlands: Respecting the land, Reducing waste and emissions, Offering fair and safe employment, Thinking long-term.
We are not a Santini supplier but the Santini partner for our customers.

It's precisely this potential that encouraged Van Helvoort Company to set up a new production location here. But we're not just growing flowers in Kenya. We're bringing our Dutch roots with us — and that includes the values that define us as a company: quality, responsibility, and innovation.
